Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT), Rourkela has been set up in June 2002 by Government of Orissa under an Act of the Assembly. All Engineering, Pharmacy, Architecture colleges offering MCA and MBA degree programmes are either constituent or affiliated colleges of BPUT University.
